A2Z of being a Middle Class India

Come April and my favourite Writing exercise with my favourite people is back again. This year I have decided to participate in the BlogchatterA2Z once again. Just hope I am able to complete the task this year.

What is my Theme About ?

So previously I have written about 90’s Indian Television and the ways women can restart their career. This year it is more about our Lifestyle and Emotion. Being a Middle Class person in India is not about our Financial status, it is more about an emotion.

We Middle Class people are proud of our existence are the original individuals who promoted sustainable living. We always purchase a product so that it can be passed on the next generation. Hence, every Clothing item purchased by a middle class household is one size bigger, so that we can wear it, even when we grow big.

We love savings and therefore the Word Sale always makes us happy. Shopping during Sale Season is one of the most favourite activity of us Middle Class Indians. Nothing makes us happy, than getting a good discount on our favourite product.

Brand Names do not make us happy but Bargaining does. Any individual who is the best at bargaining is the person we admire. Nothing makes us happy than buying a dress that we saw at half rate. For us MRP and Printed Price is a myth and everything can be negotiated.

Today all the Celebrities talk about Sustainable Living and reusing jars has become a trend. But we middle class have been doing it since ages. A cookie box, never has cookies, it always has thread and needle and other items. Our Kitchen does not have matching tupperware jars but reused jars.

So this is a glimpse on what you can find on my Journey in this #BlogchatterA2Z Journey.

Law students often face problems, which they cannot share with their friends and families. We have started a column on our website Student’s Corner. In this column we are talking to several law students about the challenges that they face. Students who are interested in participating in the same, can fill this Google Form.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE SAME, DO LET ME KNOW.
