Discrimination is the unfair treatment of people and groups towards others based on various
characteristics such as gender, race , language, colour , religion , caste , disability etc.. For many people,discrimination is an very day reality . Still today many people faces discrimination in their workplace,college, religious worships , society. Discrimination arises from fear and misunderstanding.
There are different types of discrimination faced by people like
• direct discrimination
• indirect discrimination
• Gender discrimination
• Sexual harassment
• Pregnancy and maternity discrimination
• Social discrimination
The Human rights Act declares that its illegal to dicriminate on grounds of race, colour, gender,
language, political, national or social reasons, age , disability.
Article 14 : protection from discrimination. This article explains that all our rights and freedoms must be protected and applied without discrimination.
We must stand up against the evil-‘discrimination’ to adopt a better society.
I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
