It is rightly said ” An empty mind is a devil’s workshop”. When we are doing absolutely nothing negative thoughts keep on entering our head and it creates worst situations. We keep on overthinking or be sad about certain things which have had happened in the past and even can’t do anything about it. It is like recreation of problems. If we start to be busy we would have no room for such thoughts. We can think about improving life. Being busy increases the motivation. Having a schedule, setting goals and time management are all the factors of being busy. As long as you are going in a healthy way there are multiple benefits of being busy. There is a big difference between those who fill their days productively and those who do so to distract from issues that needs to be dealt with.
The extreme version of staying busy can lead to stress, anxiety And illness. Your intentions have a lot to do with whether you are getting benefitted from your current schedule. When the intention behind being busy is that you want to run away from worries or such emotions than it is said to be healthy. Staying busy means less time for unproductive and worrying activities. Staying busy gives us the opportunity to not go back and worry about the wrong things which are out of our control. Instead staying busy with a job that gives us good income, discovering things with your friends or life partner, organising things at home can be said to be busy. Staying active helps us both mentally and physically. It gives us an opportunity to stay in the present moment. Staying active in present will be beneficial in the long run in life. You will be able to do things on time therefore there will be no pending work left ever. It will get discipline in our life. Staying busy will help you be productive, increase your energy, improve your creativity, help you to be alert and stay positive.
it’s not always a bad thing. your intentions have a lot to do with whether or not you’re benefitting from your current schedule. “When the intent behind being busy is avoidance of processing worries and feelings, this is considered unhealthy,” “When the intent behind being busy is to engage in healthy distraction from constantly engaging in worrythen this is considered healthy.” Being busy can mean that we are hard workers, but ultimately, that doesn’t make us any more important than someone who doesn’t want to live that way. Anyone can choose to be busy all it means is that we’ve decided to fill our schedule with commitments.
When we are engaging in healthy busyness, we have the opportunity to stay in our present moment and focus on the here-and-now.
Being busy is a good thing for our body and soul, it’s equally important that we make quality time for our loved ones, including some ‘me time’ for ourselves.
I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
