We can start this with a question that can we live without animals and the answer says no, without animals or plants our life would have been impossible. As, oxygen, clean water, food, clothing all comes from them. Even the smallest of the smallest animal on the planet plays a vital role in its ecosystem so the change in its eating habit can eventually bring a change in food chains, and that can compromise with the survival of everything. From the beginning of our development, our oceans, grasslands, forests, plants have provided us life, shelter, food, fish, books, papers etc. Throughout those early ages , just like today, our world’s fruiting tress and forests are pollinated by birds, squirrels , butterflies, bees etc. We have domesticated some wild animals to become our livestock, providing milk, meat, etc. Poultry farming and agriculture has provided huge number of employment to the people. How dogs become our friend, our hunting partner and even bodyguards, how tress provide shelter, rain, oxygen and many other things. And the list goes on, on how plants and animals have played a vital role in our lives and without them our life is simply impossible.
Wildlife conservation this word reminds us of saving the resources which have been provided to us as a nature’s gift. The protection of the species of wildlife from extinction by applying suitable methods is termed as wildlife conservation. We should take a step and realize that the appreciation of wildlife goes beyond merely to what they have given to us. There are many species capable of making a lot of things, providing us with a number of things and having complex thoughts and emotions. They are just like us have families, have emotions, play a vital role to save our life but yet after knowing all these importance of the wildlife we put zero efforts to conserve and protect it rather we are overfishing our oceans, depleting our forest, and hunting many species just for our fun and pleasure. Poachers are killing elephants just to sell their tusks, there are demands for shark fish for luxury dinning,. The trade in such species has become a million dollar market.
By writing this I just want everyone to remember that we are living because of the wildlife and biodiversities that have been provided to us in a form of nature’s gift. Wild animals have made us who we are. They are essential to our foundation, to our very existence. Wildlife and wild animals keep our world alive. Without them, there is no us. So when we harm them or kill them, our cut forest we take a step to destroy our own existence. So we need to stop making our life tough by acting immature towards out wildlife and rather promote wildlife conservation.
