Nowadays, advertisement plays virtual role in everyone’s life especially in youngsters.
Companies advertise their products to reach out to the consumers. with this they are sensitive the customers especially the youngsters.
It is not possible for workers of the company to advertise and promote their products to make the customer retain the information in the advertisement For a complete time. They have been using celebrities from various files like movies, sports, etc.
Younger generation becomes the target. because they follow the latest trend and follow it easily.
Advertisements have both positive and negative effect on youngsters.
The celebrities and influence or force their families to buy the product. Today’s generation copy the style of celebrities that what they wear, what they eat , what they have that’s why they use celebrities.
Some Advantages :-
Some time advertisements become a source of information.
Healthy food choices advertisement is good way to make peoples diet balanced.
Some advertisements are calculating good habits in the children’s such as hand wash etc.
Advertisements that carry content related to social change can help to promote empathy and have a sense of duty towards the community.
Advertisement also encourage or motivate children’s to choose a good profession.
Advertisement related to cautionary that is related the consequences of alcohol, smoking and other drugs and helping. youngers ones not to take all these.
Negative effects :-
Many of the advertisements managed to faint the line between real and real life, with this they are losing touch with reality.
Most of the youngsters tend to have lower-esteem if they do not advertised.
Advertisements are also a leading factor influencing the people in the choice of clothes or other luxuries. It may some times not in their favour and this also make parents forceable.
Most of the food advertised is junk food which have a bad impact on the health.
The massage in some advertisements is wrong and the mind mainly focuses on the negative rather than positive.
In the end, it would be wrong to say that the impact of advertisements on youngsters is always positive or always negative. It would depends on youth that how they get the message given in advertisements. Or what they think about that.
I have always been against Glorifying Over Work and therefore, in the year 2021, I have decided to launch this campaign “Balancing Life”and talk about this wrong practice, that we have been following since last few years. I will be talking to and interviewing around 1 lakh people in the coming 2021 and publish their interview regarding their opinion on glamourising Over Work.
