A Hobby is our Constant Companion. No matter how much we grow up. There will be a hobby that we would all like to cherish and pursue.
How many times, have we told our friends and peers that as a child we liked doing drawing or painting but today as adults, we are unable to do so. As school children, we must have all written the essay about our favourite hobby. We are always taught to believe that Hobbies are something that we pursue only during our school days. It is a pasttime that we pursue only to keep ourselves busy during the summer vacations. Even though we always write a full page essay on My Favourite Hobby and the benefit of having a hobby, yet we are unable to understand its importance, when we grow up.
One of the main reasons, why we forget our hobbies is because we are so busy with the hunt for Roti, Kapada and Makaan that we barely have any time for our hobby.
Reasons why it is important for an adult to pursue a hobby
Your Hobby is your identity. It is something that makes you happy and will keep you in your happy space physically and mentally. A Hobby will always help you to remove your negative energy from your mind and help you concentrate on the positive aspects of life. A hobby will always make you curious and adaptable to any tricky situation in life.
A Hobby will help you stay focussed in life and ignore the negative and toxic people and thoughts from their lives.
A Hobby will help you to stay alert as your mind is no more overwhelmed and a happy heart will always have an open mind.
Now that we have all refreshed our minds on why we need a hobby let us think about how we can pursue a hobby despite our busy schedules.
1 Be determined to pursue your hobby
Don’t be shy to pursue your hobby.
Forget the concept of Log Kya Kahenge. It is your life and you know the best what to do with it.
Spare atleast one hour in a week to pursue your hobby that is the least you could do for yourself.
Today your hobby may look frivilous to others. But tomorrow you never know, How it will help you in a tricky situation.
