Tips to Boost your immunity during Covid Times.

I used to seriously face immunity problem every now and then I used to catch cold, used to feel tired most of the time and also had a problem of severe hair loss few months back these all occur when one has a very weak immunity system, you are prone to catch maximum virus borne disease and specially during these times one should definitely have a great immunity.

Having a great immune system helps to protects us from various kind of diseases on the other hand a weak immune system can make you prone to catch certain disease and take longer time to get well from those diseases, moreover sometimes if immune system is very weak then our body starts attacking its own organs and the reasons that contributes to these weak immunity problem are stress, unhealthy lifestyle, and age factor.

Ashwagandha – a Indian herb,

it enhances the body’s resilience to stress, it improves the body’s defense mechanism system against disease by improving cell mediated immunity, it also has anti oxidant properties that help to protect against cellular damage. Add one tablespoon of Ashwagandha in your milk and consume it one hour before going to bed, lactose intolerant people, can also replace the milk with water.


Also known as Amrita, which means the root of immortality it purifies the blood helps to keep body cells healthy and contains antioxidants, it is also very effective in curing infertility. Add one table spoon of Giloy powder in luke warm water and consume it in empty stomach.

Mint Drink

Add half tea spoon of turmeric into boiling water and then add 10 mint leaves in it, and boil it further for two to three minutes and then pour the juice in a glass and give it time for cooling then add a teaspoon of honey in it, the antioxidants present in this drink will help to fight with all the microbes in the body and providing a enhanced immunity system.


I’ve have always seen my mother to add turmeric in her cooking recipe, it’s a very common household cooking ingredient, turmeric gives an instant boost to the immune system, it has anti oxidant, anti inflammatory and anti microbial properties, one can also consume turmeric by adding half tea spoon of turmeric in hot milk or by just adding a pinch of turmeric in lukewarm water.


It is rich in Vitamin C, which helps in curing iron deficiency, anemia is a symptom of poor health which can be effectively cured by in taking amla, one amla contains more vitamin C than 20 oranges so here comes its immense value.

Balanced Diet

It is always important to maintain a balanced diet, consume seasonal fruits daily, sit under the sun for a few minutes to gain vitamin D. The best time to sit in the sun is during 12 noon to 3 pm. If you are unable to go out in the open to absorb sunlight ensure that the windows of your room are wide open. You can also sit near your window to absorb sunlight.

Exercise regularly

At least give half an hour for exercise daily, it will help to burn unwanted body fat and increase body metabolism, practice yoga, skipping and maintain a proper sleep cycle. If you do not have sufficient space in your house then try doing sit-ups or squats as they not only strengthen your back and leg muscles but also help in increasing your stamina and loosing weight.

             By following these few steps one can easily be able to get a better immunity during such crucial times.
