Corn Pulav

A simple 10 minute recepie to fullfill your tummy.


1 Cup Corn

2 Large Onions (chopped)

1 Carrot

2 Cups Rice

1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1 tsp Garam Masala or Chicken Masala or Malvani Masala

A pinch of Turmeric

Salt as per taste

1 tsp Sauf


Cut Onions into slices and chop Carrots as finely as you can. Wash and keep the corn aside.

Heat the Pressure and put three tsp of Ghee. Add Onions and saute till Golden Brown.

Then add Carrots and Corn.

Add all the masalas and stir for a couple of minutes.

Wash rice and soak it for about 30 minutes before adding. Add Rice and saute for a couple of minutes till the rice becomes crispy.

Add 4 cups of water and keep on medium flame for around 10 minutes or 2 pressure cooker whistle.

Once the cooker cools down open and check, if the rice is uncooked then add not more than half a cup of water and keep it again for a couple of minutes and then let it cook.
