Raaj Konar – WorkSmart

So this is my first interview with respect to the Work Smart Campaign, which is basically about avoiding Lifestyle Diseases like PCOD by working smart.

But before we jump to the main topic of PCOD it is important to know, how much people know about PCOD.

So Here we have Raaj Konar, a 33 year old, Ad Film Maker from Mumbai.

What is your official office hours?

As I am an Independent Professional, there are no fixed working hours.

How many hours do you spend at Work?

About 9- 11 hours every day.

When did you first hear about Periods and from whom?

I grew up with 4 sisters, this topic was always openly discussed.

What do you know about PCOD?

sometime it’s very painful and cause lot of discomfort

Is PCOD treatable ?

Treatment can help, but can’t be cures

Are women with PCOD unable to conceive ?

It depends from cases to cases. But there would be very few case of women with PCOD who can’t conceive

What is your Definition of Smart Work?

Smartness is to avoid being in a soup. Smartness doesn’t mean shortcut. It means you are well prepared to face whatever the situation be. You taking care of your physical and mental health, for which your diet, regular excersise and wellness should be default in our life. Thats smartness.

I am interviewing a few people, to check how much awareness, they have about PCOD.

Through this campaign, I am not asking that women working in corporates need to be sent home early. I am simply saying that men and women, working in Corporates, need to be sent home early without completing their jobs. I am just saying that men and women need to work more effeciently, so that we are able to wind up our day earlier. Technically speaking, it is of no use, women reaching home early and men reaching home late, because the kitchen closes only when the last person has their meal at home.

It may seem a simple but illogical change at present, but together if we can bring this change, which is quiet possible in our society. It will bring a huge change in all of our lives.
