Why I bought this product?

I had first purchased Himalaya Diaper Rash cream, when my elder son was just a couple of months old. I was at Vasai then, where mosquitoes were our companions. The doctor at the government health care center had advised me to use the same for mosquito bites.

How I used it?

Even though I had been using diapers for both my children from the time they were few days young. Touch wood, proper care ensured that they did not face any diaper rashes till date.

But yes, when ever they did face any issues of diaper rash, within application of the said cream a couple of times, the rash would reduce.

So how did I ensure, that my children did not have diaper rash. Well, the basic point is to just keep their genitals clean and to apply coconut oil before bathing. Clean their genitals using old soft cotton sarees or dupattas soaked in warm water or plain water. Until and unless I was travelling or was outside, I never used wipes to clean their bottom. Well will definately write in detail about how to avoid diaper rash in babies.

I would and I still do apply this cream as a mosquito repellent cream on my children sometimes, when I take them to garden. But in general, for any kind of rashes that I see, I apply the diaper rash cream first, even on their face.

My User Experience with this cream

So, I have been using this cream for almost 5 years now. Trust me it is a genuine product that I swear by. It is non greasy. Does not give out a bad smell. Children do not feel uncomfortable, and has helped me out in a lot of situations.

All in all, I am happy with this cream and would definately recommend it to every single mom.
